Adulting
Congratulations on walking through the arch of life to becoming an adult! You have achieved the milestone many of us have been desiring to obtain since we have been young children. Freedom to choose the path we take and not for someone else to make those choices for us. As you may be coming to the realization adulting comes with its own set of challenges that can be overwhelming and quite frankly not what we expected it to be! We now have or are developing new responsibilities with a higher set of expectations placed upon us. Life does not require us to take a course in Adulting 101 and some of us did not learn certain skills that can help us in adulthood. I want to let you know this is more common than you may believe it is and I hope you do not feel shame or guilt over it.
I know first-hand what it feels like to be a young adult and not be equipped to overcome the challenges of adulting. In many ways, I had to learn the hard way and be mentored by many kind, loving, and patient people to help me along my journey. I am forever grateful to all those who cared for me and taught me the best practices for Adulting and achieving my life goals. This is one reason why I specialize in working with the young adult community (AKA emerging adults).

This group is a small group therapy process designed for Emerging Adults ages 18 – 32 learning how to Adult Together while being real and having fun! It is a safe confidential environment for you to process life struggles, relationships, career/job issues, and anything adulting. The group includes experiential techniques, DBT Skills, Gestalt Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and psychoeducational material focused on: life transitions, relationships, communication, emotional regulation, and vocational (career development/exploration) skills.
